Sunburned in Georgia

Well, here I am--on vacation in St. Simon's Island, Georgia--working on homework. Isn't technology grand? I drive over 600 miles from my home in Arkansas to the East Coast and still I can do stuff for my classes at Pitt (although we were traveling on Sunday which is why I missed the class chat). I spent all day at the beach and am pretty sunburned but it was worth it. It's an interesting vacation--the peace and serenity of the ageless ocean combined with the new, fastpaced 21st century technology. Food for thought...

Never had a blog before!

This is my first blog ever...just never gotten into it before. It'll be interesting to see if I hate or love it by the end of the semester.
